The Vision Behind DTURN Studios

Hi, my name is Deonte Turnley, I have had a passion for videography and photography since high school and have spent the past few years honing my skills to ensure that I provide the best service possible.

I got my start in videography and productions in high school when I participated as a student producer, videographer, and editor in EVSC Community Link, a student produced monthly show that aired on WNIN. I also served as the technical director for musicals and plays for the school's drama department. My affilliation with Community Link also provided me the opportunity to intern for WNIN where I would film weekly rotary club meetings.

I continued to advance my skills when I attended Murray State University. At Murray State, I received a bachelors in TV Production. I participated in various activities in my undergrad including TV Club, and being a part of MSU 2Nite, a weekly show that airs on KET2. I also operated cameras for ESPN+ with Murray State Athletics. I returned to get a masters degree in Organizational Communication and Leadership and continued to develop my skills by producing videos, social media posts, and live streams for the Office of Multicultural Initiatives while also offering photography services for graduations and other events.

I currently serve as the Multicultural Program Advisor for the University of Southern Indiana and Associate Executive Director for Boom Squad, a performing drumline in Evansville, IN. I also continued my passion for productions by starting DTURN Studios, LLC and becoming a technical producer for arena and ESPN+ productions for USI Athletics!

I am dedicated to offering a full experience to my clients, tailoring each shoot to meet their unique needs. If you're looking for a passionate professional who can bring your vision to life, I would love to collaborate with you!
